GoDaddy free hosting can get you around. But if you want to be professional get a paid one. After all, it's less than $100 per year.

Never go for a free hosting, you can get cheaper rates as low as $5/month and you will assured of your security concerns and in the long run it is only going to help you, if you get good traffic to your website.

What I use for free hosting is www.sitefrost.com they have excellent free hosting. technically it isn't free but all you have to do is post a minimum amount of posts and you can then get the free hosting! there are at least 6 packages that you can order for your every need. from basic to advanced hosting!
