What are domain hacks?

Is a kind of domain, which express a full word using the TLD too.
Especially are use ccTLD like .us, .me, .gs

Some examples for domain hack:

Most known are blo.gs del.icio.us who.is and many more.

Is there a good marketplace for these kind of domains?

I'd say yes there is!

yeah surely they are great investment.The market is really ho better to get in now before its to late and we might not find any good domain.

These domains can really sell for much more than purchasing price. I am trying to get a similar one which can reflect my name :)
